Tynedale

Tynedale is the largest district in Northumberland and one of the largest in terms of square miles in the England. It encompasses several areas of national importance designated by National Park Status, Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Special Scientific Interest. The market town of Hexham is the seat of the district council but there are several towns and large villages encompassed within the boundaries of Tynedale including Bellingham, Haltwhistle, Prudhoe, Corbridge and others.

Tynedale also contains Kielder Forest, village, and reservoir a large length of Hadrian’s Wall and some of the best preserved sections of the wall with breathtaking views and bracing walks.
